The MTL5074 is a high-performance temperature transmitter designed for hazardous areas. It safely converts weak signals from temperature sensors (like thermocouples or RTDs) into a robust 4-20mA current loop signal for your control system. With software-selectable features for linearization, ranging, and sensor burnout alarms, it offers incredible flexibility for your most demanding applications.

Easy Installation & Setup

Installation is simple. Connect your sensor to the labeled terminals. Use the PCL45 interface and PCS45 software on a PC to easily configure input type, linearization, units, and alarm settings. The standard configuration is ready for a 3-wire RTD.

Wide Compatibility

This transmitter works with eight major thermocouple types and 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTDs. Order the MTL5074 model for thermocouples (includes HAZ-CJC plug for cold-junction compensation). Choose the MTL5074-RTD model for RTD or mV inputs (can upgrade with HAZ-CJC plug later).
