Product Description
The MTL5042 is a high-performance isolated repeater designed for hazardous areas. It provides a fully floating DC supply for 2/3-wire 4-20mA transmitters in Zone 0/Div. 1 locations while repeating the signal to safe-area loads. Supports bi-directional HART® communication and major protocols (Honeywell DE, Foxboro, Yokogawa Brain). Ideal for process control applications requiring intrinsic safety and signal integrity.

Installation Guide
Requires HAZ4-6 and SAF7-9 connectors for proper wiring. Ensure transmitter is suitably certified for hazardous area installation. Follow terminal functions:
- Terminals 1-3: Field device connections
- Terminals 11-12: Safe-area output
- Terminals 13-14: Power supply
Compatibility
